BEARS, MYTHS AND REALITIES

FROM OCTOBER 11 2013 T0 JUNE 30 2014

Our new Exhibition of the Year

BLIZZARD Productions / Photo Michel TONELLI

The bear, a mythical animal often discredited, represents that part of animal nature which humans try to exorcise even while they see their own reflection.

Be it venerated or despised, the bear is the object of fantasy and desire, of attraction and aversion. This exposition explores the complex perception humans have of bears, and invites the visitor to question his own relationship with the animal.

What we are talking about here are bear stories but also the common history shared by men and bears and our relationship to the ' wild '
