Ceramic rooms: at home with Kate Malone and Edmund de Waal

From september 24 2002 to january 19 2003
Decorative art
Two very different and opposed views onthe use and the potential of pottery. Kate Malone is inspired by the natural world and uses organic shapes such as cristals put in fire to stimulate the activity of volcanoes. Edmund de Waal uses porcelain to make simple and elegant symetric works. Maximal and minimal run into each other!
