Since May 1948, the date of the declaration of the Hebrew State, Robert Capa stayed a number of times in Israël where he took various snapshots of events that marked the birth of the young State: the invasion by Arab armies, the arrival of immigrants...70 of these photographs are commented by historian Georges Bensoussan.
