From september 19 to december 7 2002

Religious art
The white-glazed porcelain ware (known as "Dehua" or "blanc de Chine") were produced in Fujian province since the Song dynasty (960-1279), but became popular during the Ming (1368-1644) and early Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. The eighty objects shown (XIVth-early XXth), represent Buddhist and Daoist deities, some of which were especially produced for foreign markets.
