Aside from the oppressive photographs taken of the forest, there is a series of cages of animals of prey, mostly felines which he took in the Dresden zoo in 2000. Whether occupied or empty, the are photographed in such a way as to offer a very strict geometry and give the impression that they exist by themselves, a metaphore of all the anterooms, spaces where time sems to suspend its flight.
