From both a technical and philosophical point of view, there is a relation between the Chinese craftmanship tradition and the contemporary works by the Chinese-Australian artist Ah Xian. His sculpted busts in porcelain and lacquer are here confronted to a selection of porcelains from the Rockfeller collection.
