A selection of more than eigthy works, drawn from the Metropolitan Museum's collection, reflect aspects of the African-Americans' daily life between 1929 and 1945 : among others, prints by Dox Thrash and Elizabeth Catlett, paintings and watercolours by Lois Mailou Jones and Horace Pippin.
