The exhibit centers on the documentary applications of photography in the XIXth century, in fields as varied as asronomy, microphotography, architecture, topography and geology. The ensemble includes over sixty photos, of which the gigantic topographic plotting over five meters long of the siege of Sebastopol done in Crimea in 1855-1856 by coronel Langlois. |
