As Italian designer Ettore Sottsass made a donation this year to the Pompidou Center, an important number of archives, photographs, and original drawings have entered the collections of the National Museum of Modern Art. Among the objects, there are numerous technical drawings, photographs, typewriters, and a mini-computer that illustrate the adventure of the first Italian computer Elea (1958), as well as the evolution of the Olivetti typewriters over a twenty-year span. |
