Inherited from the Greek and Roman Antiquity and the Bible, the theme of the "Nine valiant knights" is an incarnation of the knightly ideal from the XIVth and XVIth centuries. A series of tapestries from the XVIth century, weapons, enamels, prints and card games brings back to life this era tainted with heroism from the end of the Middle Ages.
