The exhibit is opened by forty-six drawings created in Tuscany, in Florence and Siena, places where the "modern manner" was invented. Salviati, Vasari, Carravaggio, Giordano, Gandolfi, Titien, Vronese and many other artists then symbolize the folowing phases of drawing.
