Following the exhibit in 2002 dedicated to decors painted in Baroque Rome, the museum continues with Napolitan painting from the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries. Thanks to the fund of Ajaccio and exceptional loans from French and Italian institutions, the public will have the oppportunity to see in three sections the diversity of the prestigious Napolitan school illusrated by the Caravaggio's heroic chiari-oscuri and Solimena's lightfilled scenes. |
