Japanese artists took advantage of the peace climate of the Edo period (1603-1868), to instaure a new artistic golden age.It is the birth of the Kabuki theater or the Bunraku, the Haiku poems and the popular Ukyio-e prints. Two hundred and fifty works demonstrate the homogeneous character of this art. |
