| As of 1945 Pierre Balmain created his fashion house aimed at active, elegant women. Erik Mortensen succeeded him when he died in 1982, and signed his own modern style. This period of the Balmain house between 1982 and 1990 is repreented by fifty high fashion models, evening and cocktail dresses. |
