Porphyry is the most royal of all stones. Its hardness and rarity make it a luxurious stone, its purple color gives it a very uncommon character. Linked to political power, it symbolises grandeur and power. An ensemble of varied objects are witnesses of the political and symbolic value attributed to this stone since Antique times. |
