Martin-Guillaume Biennais' amazing carer is due to his encounter with Napoleon. A modest artist in fancy articles and inlaid work, he become the Emperor's First gold and silver smith, who entrusted him with a great number of commissions. The objects presented nderline the diversity of is produciton and invite the spectator to admire the personal or ceremonial objects from the Empireal court. |
