Painting Algeria, from Delacroix to Renoir
From october 7 2003 to january 18 2004
The exhibit deals with two themes: while a documentary part presents photographs, post cards and travel logs from the XIXth century, another evokes the different works of artists such as those of Delacroix,Fromentin, Chasseriau or even Renoir who got their inspiration from this heart warming land.
