Carlo Zinelli (1916-1974)

From september 21 to december 7 2003
Modern art
After being a manual worker, a butcher and in the mountain infantry, Carlo Zanelli was interned in the psychiatric hospital of Verona, and started a new life.In the solitude of his crazyness, he did watercolors and drawings on the back and front of his support. The one hundred works presented underline the complexity and diversity of his work. This major artist goes beyond Art Brut.
