| Lithographs, etchings, xylographies and drawings illustrate the different graphic means used by the expressionists in their interpretation of the nude and the portrait. Freed from any of society's constraints, artists such as Kirchner, Beckmann, Heckel or even Müller tried to show man as he is, full of emotions, urges and drives. |
