As of the age of six,Lartigue immortalized the moments of happiness of those close to him on film. As an adult he paints but has not forgotten photography, which has become the witness of his time: the beginnings of aviation and of car races, vacations on the Riviera and the elegant women in the Bois de Boulogne are the recurrent themes of his snapshots.
