Le Premier Or de l'Humanité

The first Gold of Humanity
From september 13 2003 to january 15 2004
Archæology
Ethnology and society

The pieces presented, among them the oldest gold bracelet ever discovered, come from the tombs of Varna in Bulgaria. The objects from the world of the dead are put in parallel with those of the world of the living. The subtle scenography plays with black and gold, and suggests an interesting comparison with our civilization.
