Winner of the prize at the International Photography Festival in Moscow in 2003, Savadov is one of the more radical Ukrainian artists. In the mines of Donbass in Ukrania he disturbs the miners daily, taking photographs of models in ballet tutus in the galleries of the mines. The confrontation of the mine underground with the artistic underground.
