A Moscow artistic association created in 1910, the "Valet de carreau" (Jack of Diamonds) exhibited the masters of Russian avant-garde as well as foreign painters among which Tatline, Gontcharova, Malevitch, Cézanne, Picasso, Matisse...Over 80 works testify to the major role of this "Valet de carreau" in artistic Europe of the beginning of the century.
