Watercolors and drawings by Bouhot, Dauzats, Langlois or Jorand and lithographs according to Daguerre, Bouton, Fragonard or Taylor are united around the museum's two most recent purchases, a painting by Jacques Daguerre and one by Charles-Marie Bouton. The whole thing gives an account of the rediscovery of the Middle Ages and the taste for the gothic through architectural views of the XIXth century. |
