Captain Jules Perrier of the French national guard found refuge in Geneva to escape the repression of the Parisian revolt in 1871. The exhibit explores the collection of cartoons given to the BPU by Perrier. In front of them a book case relating revolutionnary ideas shows us the social and political context of the time.
