Famous in the Netherlands, Hermkens is one of the rare contemporary painters to work on lithographs. Paintings, lithographs, drawings and etchings give different aspects of urban architecture of cities such as Rome, Paris, Ultrecht, Istambul or even New York...through a figurtive art, with an almost expressionist sensitivity. |
