| The exhibit shows the extraordianry collection of materials which Matisse acculumated and which plays an essential part in his work. Around a given number of materials chosen because of the importance Matisse gave them, an important selection of paintings and drawings show how the painter had the use of material evolve as color, matter and motive in his work. |
