The exhibit presents some 60 paintings by Monsù Desiderio, painter from Messina in the XVIIth century. This fantastic and dreamlike work, in which ruins and architectural cataclysms evoke the gloom of the end of the world, is in reality a work by four hands done by François de Nomé, an visionary architect, and Didier Barra, a specialist in panoramic vistas. |
