For the bicentenial of th eEMpire, the museum invites us to discover the destinies of two princes, through nearly 230 pieces -paintigns, drawings, prints, sculptures, docuemtns from teh archives, furniture, objets d'art and photogrpahs. Th eexhibit gives a new glance on two persons History brought together. Two heirs to the throne, only sons, the Aiglon the son of Napoleon I and Empress Marie-Louise, and the imperial Prince, the son of Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie, whose lives were brutally severed at 21 and 23 yers respectively. |
