| The exhibit dedicated to the landscpaes of the Somme region presents oils on canvas as well as a great number of graphic works-watercolors, pastels, inks, wash drawings, colored crayons-through which Alfred Manessier translates the liquid element and light. The 170 works in the exhibit demonstrate the evolution of style that prevailed throughout his career, from the 40s to 1993. |
