The exhibit traces the steps of Jean Hélion's original itinerary through 80 paintings. He burst into the history of modern art in 1928 with a radical approach of abstraction. Then he finished by adopting figurative painting in 1939, at the moment in which abstract painting imposed itself everywhere.
