The exhibit presents 120 portraits in black and white made by Lee Miller, his intimate studies of friends and lovers, as well as portraits from his period as a correspondant for Vogue magazine, during the second world war. Throughout her career she maintained a certain surrealist eye and used architectural elements to isolate and frame her subject. |
