He arrived in Paris in 1912, set up in the Ruche in Montparnasse and played an active part in the Paris School.His drawings reveal an expressionism that comes directly from central Europe: his touch is nervous and the colors are dark, the atmosphere sober and reveals the anguish linked to the exile.
