Larry Sultan shows photographs taken during the filming of pornographic movies, but he is interested in what is outside the camera's field of vision: slack periods, pauses, waiting periods... In no way do his images resemble a pornographic documentary, and furthermore the arrangement of the villas of San Fernando remind him of his childhood.
