The exhibit groups together beautiful historic costumes by designers such as Christian Dior and Elsa Schiaparelli, and clothes by contemporary designers -among them Jean-Paul Gauthier, Martin Margiela and Hussein Chalayan -to explore the continuity and complicated influence of the past and the present.
