Nearly 60 paintings and 25 prints on th eunique theme of sunsets enhance the production of Frédéric Vallotton. The latter spread his representations of sunsets throughout all of his creative periods. He sometimes went very far in abstraction by using chromatic gradations that evoke psychic atmospheres.
