| The exhibit dedicated to landscapes of the Somme region presents oil paintings on canvas as well as a great number of graphics-watercolors, pastels, inks, wash drawing, colored pencil -through the bias of which Alfred Manessier translates the liquid element and light. The 170 works of the exhibit testify of the stylistic evolution that marked all of his career, from the 40s to 1993. |
