| The summer of love underlines the unique links that exist between contemporary art and popular culture, advertising culture and pictural language of the political protests of the sixties and beginning of the seventies.The exhibition presents works by Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, spatial utopias by Verner Panton, musical videos by Velvet Underground,recordings of concerts by Deep Purple, as well as a program of experimental films. It reveals the utopic and creative potential of psychedelic art, and shows how deeply it affected our daily culture. |
