The exhibit is a confrontation between Dubuffet the painter and Dubuffet the collector.Jean Dubuffet is not only the inventor of the Art brut concept, but he is also at the origin of the collection of Art Brut of Lausanne. In 1945 he started collecting works by selftaught artists and donated them to the city, who in turn in 1976 inaugurated the Collection fo Art Brut in the castle of Beaulieu.
