From december 5 to 11 2005
Following the war of 1870, a breath of freedom blew over the French ceramics workshops. New artistic workshops opened, making pieces that were decorative and not necessarily utilitarian. The museum brings together some 80 colored pieces and some 20 in Art Nouveu stoneware, from private and public collections, showing the different artistic tendencies expressed in the workshops of Montigny-sur-Loing and Marlotte between 1870 and 1933.
