La Figuration narrative dans les collections publiques

The Narrative Representation in the public collections
From december 21 2005 to march 19 2006
Contemporary art
The exhibition unveils for us the most significant works of the narrative figuration movement, born in 1964 and instigated by Bernard Rancillac and Hervé Télémaque. The artists wished to offer an alternative to the various abstractions that dominated the international artistic scene at the time. Other painters quickly joined them: Monory, Fromanger, Cueco or even Adami.
