A tall richly colored, sensuous female face dramatically engage visitors as they enter the Smithsonian's Arthur M. Sackler Gallery. The monumental statue, titled Devi, by Indian artist Ravinder Reddy (b. 1956) is one of his well-known pieces that refers to both traditional India and contemporary Indian culture.
