In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Leopold Blaschka and his son, Rudolf, designed and manufactured thousands of glass replicas of sea creatures to be displayed in National History Museums. These objects are extraordinary examples of the fusion of design, craftsmanship and industrial production.
