Beautiful, highly educated and a great patron of the arts, Madame de Pompadour employed the best of France's sculptors and painters to portrait her. Including works by Nattier, Boucher, Carle Van Loo, Greuze, Vien and Pigalle, the exhibition also give examples of furniture and decorative arts which she owned.
