The Vaughan Bequest of Turner watercolours

From january 1 to 31 2002
19th c. art (1848-1914)
Like every year since 1900, the bequest of the art Collector Henry Vaughan is presented. The 38 watercolors includes many periods of Turner's long carrer. Too fragile to be on permanent display, Vaughan stipulated that it could only be shown in January, when daylight is at its least destructive levels.
