Coincident with the Metropolitan Museum’s venue of Thomas Eakins, the second annual installation of Summer Selections will feature some 50 watercolors by Pavel Petrovitch Svinin and John Lewis Krimmel, two artists active in Philadelphia, Eakins’s hometown, earlier in the 19th century.
