The late 18th century saw the birth of the fashion industry in Britain. This was also the heyday of the satirical print and caricatures mocking the excesses of high fashion. Around 100 prints, dating from 1702 to the 1820s are brought together including works by J. Gillray, T. Rowlandson and I. Cruikshank.
